Improve Paitent Entry Access
The Improve Patient Entry Access project is a $4.9 million project to be constructed in 3 phases. It will provide a new driveway for the Emergency Department drop off, new waterproofing and roof for the underground MRI suites and a new canopy that will connect the existing parking ramp with and enclosed storefront vestibule and walkway for the Veterans in front of the Outpatient Entrance. This project is currently in progress and will be complete the Summer of 2017.
U Break I Fix
The U Break I Fix project was a build-out of an electronic device repair shop new to the Minneapolis/St. Paul market. It was a 1,300 SF tenant improvement of retail space in the Kensington Retail Center off of Lyndale and Interstate 494 in Richfield, Minnesota. This project was completed the Spring of 2017.
Forest Lake Transportation Building
The Forest Lake Transportation building addition is a ground up masonry and steel building addition of approximately 2,000 SF to the existing transportation building in the Forest Lake Area Schools (Independent School District 831). This addition will expand the driver lounge, restrooms, and dispatch area for approximately 145 district employees. Estimated completion will be in the Fall of 2017.
4E Super Clinic - Phase II
The 4E Super Clinic project at the Minneapolis VA Hospital will begin on June 12, 2017. This second phase will be approximately 12,000 SF and create 30 new patient exam rooms and 2 new procedure rooms. In addition, there will be a new check-in area with reception desk, waiting room, nurse stations, break room, and conference room.
The Police Operations project is a Tenant Improvement for the VA Police force. The goal of this project was to create a larger, more functional space by conjoining multiple existing spaces and increasing the overall size. During this project, we created new interview and detaining rooms, a new armory and weapons storage area, men’s and women’s locker rooms, and new offices for Detectives, the Assistant Chief, Chief, and administrative space. In addition, we installed a new pedestrian ramp to make the building entrance ADA compliant. There was also some work done to upgrade and improve the onsite day care space which was on the other side of the building. This project will be complete in the Fall of 2017.
