Versacon was founded in the spring of 2008 by LeRoy Meyer and based in Maple Grove, MN. The name Versacon was a merging of versatility and construction, as we wanted to demonstrate that we are multitalented and able to adapt. LeRoy was raised on a farm in Central Minnesota with strong family values. LeRoy also served in the Army and was a Service-Disabled Veteran who served in the demilitarized zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea. For over 40 years LeRoy was involved in the construction industry and owned and operated Meyer Contracting, Inc. from 1984 to 2002. LeRoy’s values of hard work, integrity, and teamwork are still the core of Versacon today.

Chuck Zierhut joined the firm in 2008 as Project Manager and the firm’s 2nd employee. His vision and work ethic was quickly reflected in the growth of the company. Chuck was raised in the general contracting industry as his father owned a contracting business. He worked as laborer to help pay his way through school at MN State University Mankato and earn his B.S. in Construction Management.
